Loved it. A lot. The last 5 minutes were, well, not usual and left a bittersweet taste in my…eyes. Being the best? OK. But…so what?

That director is the best in the world actually concerning that genre. 100 yards was actually more than an “usual” martial arts flick.

i’ve watched it the other day, it had been a while since i last watched an Haofeng flick, did they always had those zany kung fu flick’s sound effects?

Its by far the directors best yet but he still has issues with his editing. The fights while clear and visible have really bad cuts at time. I’m not saying its really quick MTV edits but they are jarring at time when the camera is at one side then it jumps to the other. I don’t think he or whoever his editor understands proper editing.

I loved The final master and the first trailer for 100 yards.

Can’t wait for this one (I thought it was…lost…) and time to check out his previous movies!

I’m so stoked to get my hands on this movie. Andy On is such a good screen fighter. I’d love to see him in more films like this.

Fighting scenes are well grounded and creative. Movie doesn’t get a theater release in China though but go straight to online.

This sounds great. I’m already happy that there’s plenty of fight scenes, but it’s especially good to know that the theme of martial arts plays out in the non-action scenes and influences the characters and their choices.

Will The Hidden Sword have the same fate as Bui Doi Cho Lon in never being officially released?
