You know those guys will die even before the movie starts, but it’s the story telling, and actors that makes it compelling, so you want to know, how was their fight, how far did they go before they perished. This is Cheh and his heroic bloodshed movies at each best. The bond between characters, their motivations, all counts when the desperate fight starts, and one by one go down, you feel each death. Even if the ending is corny, you feel good to know, their sacrifices were not in vain. A must watch film.
