In the early 2000’s, it was wires. Now it’s CG that people look down on. It’s pretty cool that more and more MA/action films are using less CGI than ever before (even the recent Fury Road had limited CG). Especially in something like BIG MATCH, a movie that could have went the CG route, due to its comedic tone and leading star power – it’s a movie that’s not exactly trying to break new ground, so it could have worked for its target audience wether or not they took they kept it old school.
