Anyhoo, I have a question; Do you know who the older actress is about 80 minutes into the film? It’s the woman whose husband owned the leather jacket that Liao Fan’s charcter gives her. She looks familiar but I can’t place her. I remember her as being a lot younger. She’s well known but I’m simply drawing a blank here. >_<

Comparing it to ‘Memories of Murder’ and earlier Kitano makes it sound like it’s right up my alley. Good review!
