It sounds like the trailer misrepresents the movie as I felt that it showed off too much of the low budget, and presented everything in an unflattering light. I do look forward to experiencing the film myself.

Boudica’s story begs to be told with a big budget and a 2 to 3 hour runtime. The usual suspects in this genre like Ridley Scott and Edward Zwickau would be good, but Jesse Johnson would have a more unique vision with their kinds of resources.

I feel like Olga Kurylenko keeps going back and forth with big Hollywood films and DTV cheapies. I guess Hollywood doesn’t pay her enough, and I hope the upcoming Thunderbolts utilizes her more. (Her anger inducing role notwithstanding.)

Hopefully things go better for Johnson, and if he’s lucky enough to get Hollywood calling, I don’t think he’ll abandon his principles.
