Classic! I love the fact that the Bruce Lee Estate must have been making their presence known as early as the 80’s, since at no point is the surname ‘Lee’ ever mentioned, neither in the title or the movie itself (or maybe Le is referring to himself the whole time, we just didn’t realise it)!

I remember buying the Goodtimes® VHS tape of this flick (Under the title The Legend of Bruce Lee: Chinese Chieh Chuan Kung Fu) as a kid. I was expecting a Bruce Li movie because of what the VHS cover promised (click here to see the actual VHS tape I owned, not actual, but you know what I mean), but instead got a Bruce Le flick instead.

To make matters worse, the low budget VHS tape was manufactured/recorded in LP (i.e. SP=Standard Play, LP=Long Play, EP=Extended play), BUT my low budget VCR only played in SP and EP, so every time I pressed play, it would go in Fast-forward mode of Bruce Le doing drunken-style shit and walking around in shorts! lol

I finally got around to upgrading to a better VCR (that played all three speeds) only to find out the movie sucked nuts. Mind you, I haven’t seen it since, so I can’t argue against your review rating!
